The syllabus was developed to enhance IS students’ skills in academic writing and analysis, reading and understanding IS materials, and listening and speaking in various forums in the international affairs, public communication and regional studies. This syllabus aims to develop the students/ language skills in English, while at the same time focusing on the central need of their major. The objective of the synopsis is to equip students with knowledge and skills required to evaluate political, historical, social and economic developments at the regional and global level, explain the relationships between states and international organizations.
